    holeshots in sand?

how good are holeshots in soft sand? i had a set of dunlop 537A on my 200x and they did good in the sand, but i put them on my tri-z and all it does is spin.

i like the look of the holeshots and im want to put a set on my z, but i want a tire that does good in the sand, and on trails, because i do both. any help?

i didnt see the point in buying paddles because i dont do much dune riding as there isnt many pits around here.. so i was looking for a good hybrid tire...

we are lookin into moving to arizona, THEN i will get paddles lol

Scorpions are a good tyre for both terrains. I had a set of 8". They look a little "gumby" though.

Holeshots suck in sand and creak beds
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.

When comparing paddles to nobbies The nobbies suck

but for a nobbie in the sand, Hoeshot, Turf tamer, Klaw, Razr All are good choices.

The stock TRX450 tires are good (For sand), they come on z400's too.

I wouldnt go as far as to say knobbies suck because i just bought a set of expensive N.O.S discontinued "Dunesliders" for my trike. These are a paddle which offer more drive than a nobbie yet allow the rider the ability to slide and corner, more so than a regular paddle and yet..... I dont think they're that fantastic. There doesnt seem to be the control that i had with my "el cheapo" Scorpions. If you slide these tyres past a certain angle your almost certain to loose control and wipe out. Just my opinion though.
