I think it is , kinda hard to tell but it "looks" like a square tubed frame in the first pic, so it has to be 86 or 87.

defeniatley 86 or 87 because of the square frame. But it does appear to still have the keyed ignition ( it looks like it is on there from the bad angle pics ) so i would say, yes.

Why not just as for a picture of the year decal.I know it could have been changed.But a bike in that condition,I doubt they would take the time to chenge the decal year!!! LOl
