    Mikuni Carb ??????'s

    I have an 86 yamaha 225 with a Mikuni VM24 and I have no clue what the jet size is on it. I really like the TM24. I can find one with a 130 main, 15 pilot, Q-0 needle jet,#6 throttle valve, 454-Q0 Jet needle. TM24-8001 is the manufacturers # Can anyone tell me the demsions of my OEM carb here is a link to the carb I am looking at. http://www.oemcycle.com/Item/product...24mm_TM24-8001

    That might be like the TM28 that I tried to run and could never get to start in the cold. It does not have a 4 stroke style butterfly choke, it has a 2 stroke style plunger and fuel enrichening system.

    I won't try to run one in the cold again.........
