That was pretty messed up but it definitely got the point across. You might think you're invincible when your a teenager and not put much thought into your actions because of it but your actions can affect many people besides yourself. I'm surprised I'm still alive after all these years.

I read somewheres, that the reaction time of a driver texting is worse than that of a drunk driver TWICE OVER the legal limit. Thats amazing.

I've been in with more than one person that would text while they drive, and I remember them almost rear-ending someone once.
I got my license in may, but I don't have a cell phone so know one has to worry about me texting while driving.

You're right, but it's not just teenagers doing it.... I've seen many adults talking/texting while driving, even police officers. Scary when this video puts it in that vivid of a perspective. People need to realize that what they are doing, or in this case what they are not paying attention to can have great ramifications upon more than just themselves. I admit I used to talk on the phone alot while driving, but not half as much any more. I don't think I would ever text while driving, holy crap......

Everyday I see people playing with their cellphone drifting in and out of their lane. People will never learn no matter how many videos like this they see. They need to find out for themselves...I just hope theyre the only one involved...and the accident happens behind me so I can keep on goin' down the road.

I absolutely can't stand people that text and drive.
Everytime I see it, I want to jerk the idiots out of their car in the middle of the road and beat them with their damn phone.

Many " car crashes" are referred to as a "Auto Accident"
    BS...Many can be avoided..
A "Auto accident" would be more along the lines of driving down the highway, and a boulder falling off a mountain and hitting a car..That is a accident.
There is probably over 100 car crashes per day in the U.S. alone, due to cell phone / text messaging while driving..

Thank goodness in Ohio, there are 4 potential bills on the books that are going to make texting and driving illegal. They are just waiting for approval.

Ditto what Billy said..They did a study, and the drunk actually is more focused on driving than the texter.
Problem is, The ratio of texters, to drunk drivers, is probably around 100,000 to 1 at any given time.
Here is where my long useless list of stuff nobody cares about should go...

I truly believe that within a very short time, text messaging will use "voice recognition" and turn your voice into words.

IDK what the deal with text messaging is, it's fricken annoying. I use to stop whaty I was doing to reply...... It's makes it easy to not have any real conversation.
