    Picked up a '77 ATC90

It's pretty rough, needing a thorough going through but for $50, I didn't think it was too bad. I'm not sure if I'm going to just fix what it needs and give it to my niece and nephew to ride around their yard or fix it up completely for myself.
I can't link to a picture since that stupid tire keeps getting put into the address. See attached picture below.

The front fender isn't terrible but it has a crack and the flap is missing. The rear fender and seat are pretty trashed but they're not the right ones for this bike anyway. It needs axles bearings BADLY. The gas tank is dented but 90% rust free inside. I need to pick up some fuel line and a spark plug today to get it to run. It needs a recoil too since the whole mechanism is gone (anybody got one for cheap that works?). The exhaust is cobbled together and looks like hell. The tires are fairly decent on it. At least the brake doesn't work.

I don't know how many people here are from the UP or NE WI but the guy I got it from has an ATC110 for $250 that looked pretty nice. I just didn't have the cash to pick that one up too. The year is likely wrong on it. He advertised mine as an '80 too.

Not bad for 50 bucks you can't go wrong. I picked up the 110 in my sig earlier in the year for $100 and it's in similiar shape.

Got it running tonight and rode it around my yard. There seems to be some funny business happening in the transmission/range box. I can't get a gear in low and the neutral indicator doesn't line up properly in high. It does run very well and pulls my 260lb butt around though. She's a little top heavy with me on it and the shot axle bearings make it an interesting ride but it sure is fun. I've never had a little bike like this before to bomb around on. I might have to keep this thing for myself.

$50 and you rode it already?

You better go back and fork over some more cash before the guy that sold it calls the cops.
If you can't fix it with a , its an electrical problem.

85 ATC 200s--Ratted out and not running at the moment

86 ATC 200x--All stock other than the handle bars

85 ATC 250es Big Red -- Just got new rubbers and she wants to ride!!

04 Suzuki LTZ250 quadsport - It was a decent price and I'm a raging idiot.
