83 honda 250r interchangable plastic and tanks

Im getting ready to paint my 83 250r... and i have no idea what colors to choose... so if you could post your favorite color scheme and lets see whos got the best...

I was thinkin orange frame with black fenders...???

heres my fenders whats the best way to fix them....

I have recently moved forward and i painted my frame orange and the tank black... cause i was going to put all black plastic but the tank i got looks goofy maybe cause i dont have the fairings.... anyways i put my 85 cr125r tank on it for laughs and like it alot... so wat kind of tank will fit my trike.... im likin the all orange so if anybody has any ideas let me know.... heres some recent pics...

Whats wrong with your fenders?

A good rule of thumb is to stick away from holiday colors, but you can't go wrong with flat black plastics. Just go with a different frame color

best way to fix your fenders? contact freaksfix on the boards he can hook you up with some sweet old school flat track fenders!! cheapest way would be to polish yours back up to new. I say NEVER paint plastic!!!!

i just got done painting the frame.... i know you said dont go holiday colors... but i seen a quad on one of the threads that just blew my mind.... Ill run with my fenders till i get black plastic.... I need a clutch kit and reed cage first...

.... heres a couple recent pics... i agree with not painting the fenders ill be paitent... if i haft to i guess... lol let me know if anybody has anything different.... This aint Final....

Black fenders look good, but they show scratches like crazy! If you plan on trail riding it hard, I would suggest another color for the fenders, otherwise you will constantly have to use Plastic Renew to keep it looking new - very time consuming.
