    which tire is the best

ok, so im sure that this question is asked a lot, but i dont have time search around on the comp for much so ill just ask the question and check back later.

I have a 1984 200es big red, i need tires for it and i will buy all of them at the same time. i dont know which ones to get. i want to stick with the origianal tire size of 25x12x9, but their are not a lot of options out there. so what do you guys recomend, what do you run on your trikes and what will give me the best bang for the buck. I have been looking at the AMS tires but thats only a few that i have found and i dont have a lot of time to spend searching around on the internet. thanks in advance.

Click on offroad - tires and wheels - tires - search by size.

They have about 20 different options to choose from and, they are an awesome company to deal with.
If you can't fix it with a , its an electrical problem.

85 ATC 200s--Ratted out and not running at the moment

86 ATC 200x--All stock other than the handle bars

85 ATC 250es Big Red -- Just got new rubbers and she wants to ride!!

04 Suzuki LTZ250 quadsport - It was a decent price and I'm a raging idiot.

Tires are a mix of personal preference and performance.

If guys say "Holeshots hook up great in many terrains" (which I agree with) then think about them.

The other thing is durability: Do you hit east soft sand 90% of the time? Or huge pointy rocks, jumping, sliding and racing around like a lunatic?

In tires, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! Unless they are a cheap blems or discontinued tire. I personally try to spend at LEAST 60-90$ per tire and it works for me. When I buy cheap tires I get bead seal leaks and sidewall tears happen often. So I lose the 50$ tire and 15$ or so to change it because tubes are NEVER gonna work for me

I don't buy cheap tires and I don't buy them at Walmart. I also find that the package deals already mounted with stems on .190 THICK rims works good for me too.....

Money is a big factor, but I ride and I reide often and it's all tough terrain so I find that I'm better off dumping about 400$ on 3 new tires and rims and then I'm usually good for a long time!

Pure Sports BANDITS discontinued the XC tire (more plies) they had offered, it was 190$ shipped for 2 of them on thick Douglass rims and I put them on the 250SX. That was in 1998 and they're still going and going leak free

i agree with bonkers about www.denniskirk.com , great company to deal with and you will usually find that they have the better price. but i have included a couple links to some other good sites to check out as well as a couple links to 2 tires that i have tried and recommend, they are both really good mud/snow tires but ride really smooth, not sure what kind of riding you do, so you need to take that into consideration and should tell someone before asking for a good tire, but if your gonna ride in mud and snow then i say go with one of these, probably the mud lites before the dirtdevil 2 but there both good.
