I already drained all the oil out and couldn't find any metal chunks or anything, once I get the flywheel off I'll have a better idea of whats going on. Thanks again for the help, this place has been more of a help then anything else including the manuals

If it doesn't work I'll probably just store this thing away until I have more time and money to throw at it. As much as I love 3-wheelers I am not in an area that is great for them so it is not my priority at the moment, I thought I could just rebuild the head and have a decent running ATC, I was wrong.

No if you go to the first page you'll see they went into the CDI base plate.
The ends of them are still in the cam!

if you havent already take the cam out so you dont get metal shavings down the engine. and incase you drop the bolts when you get them out. like AutoXer said they should come out very easy. try the punch or a small flat head

So I got the bolts out of the cam, cleaned the motor out, did a "water" on the valve test and they are not bent at all *whew* and got the alternator pulley off. Everything looks ok, I just found out the old owner jimmy rigged his own bolt to hold the top chain tensioner in (the one that goes in the cylinder head) so and bored out the old tensioner (maybe why it broke....) so I need a new top chain tensioner bolt and I think the base plate for the spark advancer is now slighty bent....Anyone have either of those things?
