guys familiar with a 200x wire harness

so i got a 185s with a 84 200x motor, it will spark every now and then, and then just stops

the previous owner had cobbled up his own harness, i looked at a diagram and every thing looks good except there are two green wires that are supposed to come out of the cdi box, one is gone and the other is looped,

so the green wire coming out of the pulse generator goes directly to the coil and loops to the cdi plug in insted of going to the cdi plug and back out to the coil

can you guys explain how to run my wires?
