    Starter relay?

    still trying to get the electric start going. i bypassed the harness and ran 2 new wires. checked + and ground on the starter. charged the battery but still nothing any ideas? how often does the relay break on these. could that be a plosable problem?
    Looking for some smaller style tires like the r's have, just 2 back tires. pm please.

    When you push the start button, you should be able to hear the click of the relay. If you can hear the click, then the contacts inside the relay could be bad, if there is infact a problem with the relay.

    Did you run the power directly to the starter. Bypassing the relay? If so it should have spun if your battery and starter where good.

    Have you checked the battery?

    1. Connect the battery to the leads and check power at the solenoid with the power on. If you have power go to step two.

    2. When you hit the button check voltage on the other pole of the solenoid. You have voltage proceed to next step. If no, then bad soleniod or control power issues.

    3. check voltage at starter with button hit. You have power, bad starter.
