I need ATC 70 help ASAP!!!

So I am going to pick up an ATC 70 tomorrow and it's two hours away from me....I have a 1992 BMW 525i Wagon that has about 29" vertically to fit something in the back....The owners manual for the ATC 70 says it is 31.5" tall so if one of you can measure from the ground to the highest point on the trike (handlebars?) and from the ground to the seat I would be soooo thankful! I may just have to take the front tire off or the handle bars to make it fit I just want to be sure.
    Thanks

Who has an ignition coil for an '84 ATC 70 they want to sell!?

Just loosen the handlebars and swing them down or take the nuts off of the risers and take the assembly off that should gain you about four inches.

Ratchet strap the damn thing to the roof
If you can't fix it with a , its an electrical problem.

I have to be honest, only half of that was a joke. If it came down to it and that was my last option, I'd have a trike ratchet strapped to my roof

Although someone said "coil" the points (not even the condenser) are the usual ignition failures.

No one ever greases the back side of the flywheel where the cam runs the points and then the points duration (or period of time it opens and closes) doesn't work right.........

In that case, points won't even fix it (properly) and some people upgrade to the solid state electronics.

Give the carb a good cleaning. Out f the 4 70's I have had. None ran when I bought them. A good cleaning of the carb, new plug and oil, and gas, and they ran. A fine tuning and good as new. Wish i still had all of them.
