Question HELP: Custom 3-Wheeler with TB05E

This weekend I came across a custom trike with a disassembled TB05E. The engine is marked TB05E-6050307, from what I have found I believe it is a 200cc (192cc) from an '84 ATC200ES Big Red. Does that sound about right?

The engine mount was specifically designed for the engine from what I can tell, I attached a pic. The rear shaft mounts to the drive shaft for the rear wheels through a swivel type piece that connects the two shafts together.

What is the largest replacement engine that could utilize the same mounts?

Where could I locate a diagram of the engine with an exploded view and a rebuild manual? What about a rebuild kit? I have boxes of pieces, but am not sure if I have everything.

    I appreciate any help.

bikebandit.com will have a lot of diagrams to look at. Try a search for service manuals on the top right search bar, and look for the user named , you will likely find an on line manual you can use there. Some parts for the rebuild can be purchased from sites like rockymountainatv.com , denniskirk.com , and ebay. There are many other sites you can order parrts from as well. Good luck!

Must be from an 84 Big Red since 82-83 was chain drive.

    I appreciate it, Jon.
I found the manuals here: http://72.52.143.80/~trikes/Manuals/ATC%20manuals/

I am not quite sure how I am suppose to search for a complete rebuild kit, I have not been able to determine which exact year and style the donor was for the engine...

    Great catch Rob
    I meant 84, the 83 was a typo...

I based it on the ATC200ES Big Red info I found here: http://www.3wheelerworld.com/1984HondaSpecpage.shtml

    ATC200ES Big Red
    Frame number JH3TB0554EC300001~
    Engine number TB05E-6000001~
Engine type 4 stroke, Air cooled
