Can you mount a 200s engine horizontally? Reason I ask is because I have a 110 frame and my friend has a 200s motor. Put them together and we'd have another trike to ride.

even if you could get it to fit you cant mount a 4 stroke that is ment to be vertical horazontally or vice versa because of the oil situation oil will end up in wrong places and the oil pump may not pick up oil. a 2 stroke on the other hand is happy mouted any way as long as the carb is upright
So they are really that different? I was hoping to make an intake so the carb would be upright and maybe an oil pickup, but I don't know enough about the insides of these motors

All you can do is try and hope that it doesn't kill the engine or the trike.

Saving up for a 250r later this year!
Maybe I could get away mounting it diagonal...

i have a running 110 engine,will trade for the 200s one.
Signature pic removed, becuase of no helmet.
Not my motor to trade. If it doesn't find its way into the 110 frame, it will be put in something else

lol cut and shop and mod the frame
1984 Honda Big Red
Just like INDY said, it is not designed to run at any other mostly constant angle other than vertical.
Even if you take the motor apart, your not gonna find a tube or something you can extend to "pick up oil" horizontally or at a 45 angle.
All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country
Ya, I figured it wasn't going to work. The extra motor is probably going to find its way into a golf cart.
