    need help with my '85 200x

    i have an 85 200x.motor needs rebuild. case is also cracked. got my hands on a 250r that needs a rebuild. what do i need to do to make the 2 stroke work? any help would be great. thanks

    ive heard you have to cut the frame for it to fit.

    Too bad no one ever helped him out... It sucks seeing threads you could have helped people in but somehow sometimes one slips through the cracks and never gets seen till a search 3 yrs later. I never minded people posting on old threads tho its just adding more info for the next one to read it

    When I read the site info when I joined, I remember the rules stating that we should
    continue threads, no matter how old they are.

    Maybe to keep similar information all in one place.

    My message did not show up when i sent the pics. What i was getting at is taking the r motor put it in the x. You would need to fabricate frame tube and exhaust pipe and a hole lot more this on in the photos was pretty challenging. hope this gives u an idea what year was the r motor?
