just wanted to say thanks for all the help/inspiration from you guys who took the time to respond to my posting. alot of penetrating oil and swinging and swinging and swinging the. end of the axle is a different story since it took a pretty good blow. just waiting for my bearings from "dads" in N.H and well be riding again. thanks again.

Glad you got it out, it helps to use a spacer that hits the axle shoulder and not the threads to keep it straight.........

a deepwell socket that fits over the splines but not past the shoulder works best.
