86 350x carb parts

i need the cap that goes into the float bowl to cover the jets up. mine is cracked and leaks bad and i tried to repair it with no luck.. its just in to bad of shape.


if any of you have a extra laying around ill be happy to pay a fair price for it. i just dont want to buy a whole carb.

also willing to trade 87 200x swinger for it. in usable shap. not sure how bad it is but it was on a bike recently and no visable damage

I'm lost..... The lower bowl IS the float bowl and it's aluminum and uses 4 - 4mm screws, is that what you mean?? If so you can run a 250SX float bowl if you can't find the 350X bowl.

The only other "cap" (I can think of) in there is the plastic anti-slosh piece that slips over the main jet post. Plenty of guys don't even run them. I think they just help get the fuel to the jet area when bouncing around........

OH, OK, thats the access for the main jet.......

I'd imagine you could find a 20$ junk carb.

Or STILL run a 250SX bowl (no jet access though) and the 400EX should have that cap too.

Post in classifieds, someone will give you one, I just can't waste a carb giving you one - sorry!
