Darn good find on the web site..Urals have been importing bikes for several years. At best they look like and compare to WWII Harley's. I just took a quick look at the trikes and they seem to be more updated. Wonder what it would take to start bringing these to the states?

They claim to be setting up a Canadian connection. But I am sure they can get one here for the right $$$$$$$$.

I remember when those guys posted some information on this site quite awhile back, about importing these from Russia to Canada. The guys were treated so poorly by some board members that Im not surprised they havent been back. They may not have been the greatest of machines by any means, but nobody else is offering anything better, and what they got here was, "what a piece of junk", "its not even as fast as my (insert model)", "they cost too much," etc. They had to contend with manufacturing something in a way that it could wriggle through the loopholes of current regulations, and very few seemed willing to give them credit for trying and were more interested in giving them grief as their machines fell short of those made before all the restrictions. Personally I hope they become the next "E-Ton", the Taiwan company which dominates the mini quad market under a dozen different names.

I guess all the dealers handling the new 2004 line of E-Tons will be disappointed to hear that, as well as Polaris, Alpha, Sundiro, T-Rex, Blazer, DRR, and all the others with made with parts supplied by E-ton.

I think the reason why people gave them so much flak is that they were really dissapointed with what they saw. I know i was. See, most of us expected perfomance trikes, not trikes with mirrors that are only made for hauling stuff. We have been spoiled with the trikes in the past, so we expect to be spoiled again. Thats just my 2 cents.

NOS, sounds like a distributor problem rather than a MFG problem. A quick search on the web of E-Ton 2004 shows that a lot of dealers managed to get them and have them available.
