    New Tecate project ...why me....

Well for some reason I am gluttin for punishment! I got some 85 tecate parts and decided to build me an 85 to match my 86/87 tecate. Its almost in the same bad shape I got the other tecate in, so I will have my work cut out. Here are a few pics....

Looks like a good start to a nice machine. At least parts are cheaper for the 84-85 when compared to the 86-87, for the most part at least. Will the motor run? Good luck!

What kind of flat track tire is pictured on the blue frame?
Wikipedia "All Terrain Vehicle" Definition excerpt
Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

You got me man...it came off the 86 tecate frame with an 85 front end with some really rare flat track 86 tecate fenders I sold to a board member. If you want it, I can send it to ya, hehe as its not doing me any good.

Well the headlight guard mounts on the triples and bolts on the center bracket/rad guard. The headlight mounts in the center of the guard, although I dont have a headlight just yet. I can get a closer pics if you need them.
