Thought this was project beater big red. Looks nice but I find the reds needs to be beat up a bit to totally enjoy them. Not caring about breaking the allready cracked plastics. Every big red/sx Ive seen has no brakes. Does yours? Hell even electric start is a luxuray item. Looks good.

Been a while. Ive been working on the rear rack mostly and im not going to run a front one until I find one local. Got the painted frame on wheels and now the motor is in. Im still figuring out the wiring but she is coming along. For one the fenders need to be fixed up. Theres 3 different shades of red on this bike.

    Still to do:

Recover seat, get tubes for rear tires and put a better one on front, get battery, new grips, finish wiring, clean up fenders, and then fire this sucker up.

How was is connecting the shaft drive? i bought an 86 br bike complete but the rear end was taken off for storage apparently. Iv done a 200es rearend once and it was not easy due to frame clearance.
If you could kinda run me threw the steps of how you put the motor in and connected it to the rear end. did you replace all the seals in the process.

well when I pulled the motor, the front driveshaft came with it. I didnt bother taking it off the output shaft from the motor so when I was done I just manuvered the engine back in the bike with the driveshaft back down in the rear end. What seals are you talking about?

thanks for the good feedback. This is more or less my "experience" build. Being 16 With two other BR 250's, if this works out, ill know how to do the other ones correctly. (With help from you guys of course)
