How weak are these stock axles?

I just got my axle back from the machine shop after being straightened. Not bad $20. He said the metal was pretty soft. I did not hit it that hard when it bent. However, I do ride the crap out of this thing. Are these things kinda weak? Is the cost of an aftermarket axle worth it? Durablue is like $450. Way too much. How much money do I need to put into this thing? What have your experiences been with axles? Do I need a Durablue? Or just keep straightening these stock ones?

Stock axles tend to be softer metal than aftermarket. This is good and bad, because they do bend easier, but they dont snap as easily. Id never replace a stock axle with aftermarket unless it needed to be replaced, and is too fargone to bed back. They dont bend very often. Ive never bent one!
