    ASV Brake/Clutch levers for T3

Does anyone know which, if any, of these front brake levers fit the 85 T3? Hydrualic not cable brakes. Im pretty sure the universal clutch lever will work fine, but im wondering about the brake handle as the T3 isnt listed of course. Website is found here: http://asvinventions.com/levers_orde..._quad_atv.html

I used the universal clutch lever and it wouldn't fit. I had to trim the top and bottom so it would fit into the perch. ASV sells refurbs and blems on Ebay for seriously dirt cheap prices. I do however love the asv clutch lever. To do the brake lever I am going to buy say a Honda 450 Front brake and use the asv lever for that application. Here are some pics, the asv clutch perch mount did fit. You do need to move the ignition/light switch on the inboard side of the clutch perch. Here is a link for the ASV blems and refurbs. I picked up the clutch lever and clamp for $30 shipped.

So to clear this up, you said the universal one did work after slight trimming? And with the honda one as you were talking about i will just need the entire honda master cylinder and buy the corrosponding handle, correct? My brake line will fit it?

Yeah.. I just trimmed it with a grinder. Its too thick to fit in the perch. For the front brake I plan to buy the front master cylinder from a 450R and the asv lever for that model. The brake lines are all banjo bolts, so yes the hose will be fine.

I use a yfz450 brake master, and clutch lever assy for my '86 t3. works fantastic. I love the ft brake feel, feels way better than stock, and looks better silver too.

rtc is a company that sold softy and adjustable brake levers. They also sold clutch lever(complete) as well as radiator shrouds, line coolers and such. I think they are out of business. Its ashame, their stuff was very nice, nicest trx250r radiator shrouds I ever seen. I don't have any pictures of it on the 84-85 tecate, I haven't had that bike for 6+ years now. Basically, any front brake lever for a trx250r, 400ex, 450r, 300ex/250x and maybe more will fit.

I wouldn't have even tried making the clutch lever fit, but the refurb'd and blem units can be had for cheap. I got the clutch lever for $10 and made it work. It does work great, and I like the fact that they can bend all the way forward. The clutch lever I got was for older KX dirt bikes.

Heres a pic of the YFZ stuff,

and a closeup of the master

    and clutch.

The ASV levers can be had easily for the YFZ, Then you could have a matching set. good luck, let us know what you decide!!

Keep in mind if you run a thumb throttle, the Kx master won't fit. Twist grip you are good to go!
