    there must be something wrong with this. that quad costs 7 grand, and is one of the most highly demanded quads now. I smell a scam.

    Well if it's stollen and the police find it they take it. Then your out your money and you could have possesion of stole property charges filed. In my opinion it is a big deal. To each there own.

    If it goes to a totally different state, there is a 75% chance it will never be recovered.
    The only way is, if its taken to a state that requires you to register it. Most of the states around here, dont require any kind of registering, on any land. Therefore the theft recovery rate here is like .05% and if you have something stolen from you (ATV, Dirt bike, ATC).. might as well kiss it goodbye. (in Kansas, and Oklahoma)
    I am an ex-law enforcement officer, and I know how hard cops work on stolen property cases.... not to damn hard. For about 3 days they keep their eyes open and ask around. If it leads no where, they let it dissapear into the NCIC forever.
