    Please HELP!

I have a Big Red 250es, & for some reason I think the clutch is not engaging. When I shift & hold the shifter up, it still moves foward, I might sound like an dumb ass but its kinda hard to explain. Big Red had been sitting for awhile , when I parked it it was fine, but know it just doesnt shift right.

The clutch shouldnt be engaged while holding up on the shifter lever. I actually do this in semi autos to ride wheelies sometimes. It almost works like a handclutch . Something is sticking id bet.

Tried that, didn't work! So I guess I need to take the right side case off & take a look at the clutch!

Change the oil and ride it a little... See if a couple of gentle miles help loosen it up...
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

Did you do the external adjustment?? Behind the rubber plug on the right cover??

Sounds like the plates aren't seperating even with the lever up which mechanically inside acts just like if you were to pull in a handle......
