Going hunting tomorrow

I like small game hunting along with deer hunting. I believe I am going hunting tomorrow after I drop the kids off at school. Probably ride the 200s out to the woods and do some squirrel hunting. Anyone else like to hunt squirrels?

Try and take some pics while back in the woods. Will probably have to use my phone though.

Love to harvest the destructive little peckerheads off the bird feeder once in awhile...

skinning does prove to be a challenge some time, but I love stalking them and sitting in the woods. I live in town Thorpe and picking them off the bird feeder would probably tick off my neighbors. LOL

I am in the middle of suburbia-hell as well... I use the 22 with CB longs... Thing is quieter than the air rifle... (only good for the backyard as you can watch them drop) Just a quick poke of the barrel out the window...

Backyard has a privacy fence around it, so that helps alot...

First day of small game is the 17th here in PA. Ive got the itch bad, can't wait to blast away some of them tree rats with the .17HMR.

dont you know any good sniper shoots from cover back in cover not stickign the barrel out the window lol

The CB 22 rounds, you need the extra 5 feet (barrel out the window) to keep enough take down power... Not a real high tech sniper when it comes to squirrels... Would love to crank them with the 17 HMR, but that might get the neighbors pissed...

Saw 5 shot twice and brought home none...LOL Took my .410 bolt action because there are so many leaves still on the tree. Should have taken my .22. every one I saw was to far away to nab with the 410. Then it started to rain and didn't see anything for over a half an hour and decided to go hang out at my brothers and stay dry. Still better than being at work though! LOL On a side note didn't ride the 200s out to the woods because it looked like rain, nor did I have any way of carrying the 410. no strap. 22 has a strap so next time I go I am taking the 22 and 3 wheeler.

The 17 hmr and I are gonna go spend a few hours in the woods looking for bunny rabbits and squirrels tomorrow...

We have to many cats to ever see a bunny, squirrel or any thing else that they can catch and eat. Thats why I have them though. One day you see a rabbit in the yard the next some fuzz and a foot or two down in the barn.

I got skunked today... Saw 2 tree rats, shot at 1 and missed (wtf) but did flush out 4 wild turkeys...
