'83 250R Custom Swingarm Ideas? Pics?

Hey guys im in the progress of rebuilding my '83 ATC250R and im getting a custom swinger made for it as i hate the look of the standard swingers, even when chromed and i plan on having a chromed swinger. The custom swinger will be either standard length or +2.

This is the design i was originally looking at getting made...


But i was told it may not work as the arch will interfere with the chain...


So i was wondering if any of you had pics of some cool 2nd Gen swingers or even ideas for a custom one.

Im sure he could produce it without the arch but as it is only going to be around stock length it wont have that cool ladder look, it'd probably just look like 2 bars. I dont think there would be enough room between the pivot bolt and the carrier for the ladder bars.

contact HREatve.com he will build you one that looks way better then the round tubbed stuff...could even throw a 400ex or 250r or 450r bearing carrier on it so you can get good parts for the next 27 years

Thanx for the input guys, im going to go with the next best thing, a straight ladder bar design in standard length.

Something like this but in chrome...


I was going to get the carrier housing made to fit an 86 ATC/TRX carrier (run backwards as aircooler is right side drive) but then id have to buy a new carrier, axle, etc etc and it was going to cost too much.

that should look sweet.why not go with a +2,would look killer with a little stretch

Cheers Harry, yeah was gonna do a bit of a stretch on it, it would defiantely LOOK better but i love drifting it and doing wheelies so i thought i'd keep it stock length.
