350x oil pump swap?

anyone know if the oil pump from a 300ex will work in the 350x?

I went through this before and it will work if you use the drive gear from the 350x pump, otherwise the case needs to be clearanced for this to work, and may or may not be possible...

both ways will work, i have see it done both ways.

Thanks guys, I should have searched harder, only ran 300ex/350x parts swap search, and didnt see anything on the oil pump. thanks for the answers!!

sorry. i looked the part number up and was differant so i figured it would not work. the inner and outer rotor are also differant. is the oil pressure differant?

i highly doubt it since they look identical to 350x rotors.

my buddy has a 300ex pump in his 460cc 350x big bore stroker for over a year now and it's still running....so i think they are fine.

since that is the only pump hinda or anyone makes that fits a 350x i guess sooner or later everyone will need one.
