    2011 TRX450R Might Be WICKED!

Just got done reading this thread, this guy named ThePhantomRider seems to have a good source for finding future Information. From what I have read he has a GREAT record. If he Is correct, that would be WAY cool for the Honda crowd

That guy knew a lot about the Can-Am DS450's before they came out, and it was accurate. I was blessed to see (and touch) #0000004 when Jeremy Lawson was their first factory rider. Interesting stuff for sure about the Honda IF IF IF it turns out to be true. They've been so yuppie lately I don't have high hopes for them to pull it off.

I'll believe it when I see it. Seeing as how they've pulled out of all factory support for next year and all - I just can't see them redesigning the TRX - yet.

    Hope so though!

I hear that, but I would Imagine with all the bad mouthing done about Honda for the last 5-8 years, they might just want to shut Everybody up!!! All they need to do Is bring back some OLD technology/geometry (88-89 250R) and keep It LOW. Throw In some Great suspension along with a Honda Aluminum Frame, I think It could be done???

If I remember correctly Can-Am did some wild stuff with the front brake's and spindle's to widen the front stance which also eliminated dreaded bump steer at the same time.

i am just another guy on the net that nobody knows, for what it is worth, this quad does exist! i know no details and have not seen it and i did not know that it was aluminum. i can say i trust my connection. he told me in September of 03 that the 07 450R would have electric start. they got it out a year earlier than he thought. the fact that the new 450 will have injection is not a secret though.

I'll admit that Honda doesn't seem to be on top anymore IMHO.....

There product will always sell whether it's totally revamped or just a graphics kit got installed

I can't believe how many guys call him out and have no faith in him. Read his posts, look at his past predictions; He does very well and people ought to be glad he shares ANY information!!

    Thats the internet for ya

Sounds like a great machine, I wanna see what a fuel injected machine looks like in the carburetor department. Why would anything resembling a carb even be needed?? Be interesting to see and understand.

I can agree with Jason, honda should buy a walsh crf450r hybrid and learn from it. They should get idea's from the chassis, but not copy it(like jrd did with roll lobo's), use 04/05 450r a-arms, 04/05 spindles, use cr500 rear suspension, somekind of long travel(really long body) front suspension, make it 50" w/ a 47" wide version available. I'd go as far to bring back the 250r fuel tank, seat and fenders too. This what honda should have done in the first place!!!! For the motor, the current 450 kick start is plenty for the average rider, the serious guys will modify any motor no matter how good it is. I don't get honda, why didn't they get a laeger 250r frame designed for 300ex/350x motor and make the 400ex very close to it, afterall, its basically all honda designs anyway. I've ridden 06+ 450r's and the front end SUCKS big time, it pushes so much in corners, why why why did they change something that worked so good???

Def. not. Honda has lost 4 POWERHOUSE dealers in NY in the last 90 days... Apparently the 450's aren't the only thing doing bad.

Wow, the Phantom Rider sounds really impressed with himself. I have to wonder, when he states the Honda performance will surpass all others...is he talking about current model or future model stuff. I have to imagine that the YFZ will get a reversed head soon. Granted, the jury is still out on that engine layout, but I think that the YZF won't disappoint.
