    fork seals

    hey guys got put a set of seals on the 84 250r how big of job is this

    I just rebuilt a set of forks from a 200X, from the busings to the seals. It's easy. The manual gives you all the info you need. Just when you disassemble them lay them out on a bench in order. I'd say it cost me about $40 a fork to do a full rebuild, that was just replacing the wear items with all genuine Honda parts. First time I'd ever had a fork down that far in years. If your just doing the seal it should take no time at all, change the fork oil while your doing it.

    I bought my parts online and I had the parts in roughly about a weeks time or so. They were way cheaper than my local dealer even with the shipping.
