YTM 175 DG gold head

I am not fimiliar with tri motos. Did DG ever make a gold head for these like the heads made for the

s?

my buddy had 175 or 225 (dont remeber for sure) with a gold head, it was pretty trick looking think it was a dg.

It would have been a 175. The 225 was a fourstroke.

Yes, DG made a gold head for the ytm125 and ytm175. Also DG did a conversion for a head swap for another bike to the ytm's. You could also send in your ytm 125 and 175 heads for porting and polishing. I got a catalog around here somewhere outlining all of that. There were 2 other really big aftermarket companies for the yts though, Pro Tec and Kysh 3x3.

What all aftermarket parts did PRO-TEC and KYSH 3X3 make for the yt-125 and yt-175 tri-moto's .

Pro Tec of course made the Suspension kits and they also sold a aftermarket chain tensioner which I have one NOS. I think they made a front end kit as well. There were performance exhausts and I think like DG that they would port work and such. Pro Tec made a parts that fit many different yamahas, not just trikes. I have a Pro Tec exhaust system for a BW200 that had both pipes, but no muffler. Kysh was pretty much the same except no rear suspension kit, but a lot of little engine bits and pieces. There were other companies like Bassani with their exhausts and also PK Racing had a real trick exhaust that I like the fit of much better than the Bassani.

Any idea who made a chrome sectional pipe for the YT125? I have one on mine.

Anything really, i have been searching for an exhaust for either my 125 or 175. i dont really know what was available, aftermarket wise for these machines. anything aftermarket i would be interested in.......

I'm at work now Cox, I'll try and remember and shoot you a pm after I get home. I can tell you now though, some exhausts were specific for yt125 and yt175 and some were not, it just depended on the maker. I think I may be able to hook you up with some bits though.
