i have an 82' 110 that runs ok, and there is a 125 honda motor for sale (off a trike) for $25. its complete except for the top cap of carb. if i wanted a project to play around with, could i swap the motors? im wondering about the frame and sprocket and am sure there could be an issue im not even thinkin of

I know the mounting points on the engine cases are the same, but I'm not sure if the head mount will fit. The 125 is a heavier engine than the 110 with the start end reverse aspects. The 125 really isn't any faster than the 110 with the extra added weight. Have fun if you decide to do it and take pictures.

good advice. and kerick is right too, i remember seeing a 125 that didnt have a motor for super cheap on c-list a couple months ago. you just never know whats gonna pop up and if you can get somethin cheap, well grab it. i left the guy a message, if he calls back i'll go get it.
