Negative ATV News out of Jackson Mississippi...

I heard a news story this morning that some guy near Jackson was out riding his ATV when it rolled over and broke his back. He lived for a week or so laying out in the woods eating berries and crickets and drinking rain water before he was finally found alive.

It's good news that the guy is alive and will be ok. But High Profile news articles about ATVs rolling over and hurting someone are never good for the sport.

Wow, it is good that he is alive. It's sad that it happened. This is one of the reasons I don't like riding by myself. It only takes a second for something to happen.

I can verify this story. I read it in the local newspaper here in MN on 08/06/03. He had broken ribs, and a broken back. He collected rain water in an aspirin bottle.
