yt 125 oil injection elimination quest

ok i get the whole idea about eliminating the oil injection systems on the small Yamaha's and theres lots of info on here on how 2 do this but i haven't seen any mention of jetting up the carb when going to premix and i would think that since fuel and oil must travel through the system more flow would be needed over all to get the same amount of gas to the cylinder and if so are there any base lines to go off of so im not buying a bunch of jets

I can tell you that I did not change the jetting in mine when I eliminated the oil injection and it runs like a raped ape with no problems, the only thing I had to do was slightly adjust the pilot air screw to fine tune the motor.

I never rejetted for the oil in the gas, If you don't think you have enough oil or you have too much oil, just adjust your mix ratio in your gas. No need to make it any harder then you have to.

I removed my oil pump and the trike runs just as well as before if not better. I run a standard two stroke oil but I'm wondering if there is a better one out there. What's the best oil to mix in with the gas? 10W40?
