who going on sunday for the opener
Ok guys, the time is now. We need 6 3wheelers to get our own class. I would hate to see someone drive a long distance, only not to have enough people show up to form a class. With that being said, we need people to COMMIT on said weekend that works best for all. Remember, these are Sunday races only! Honistly, if "we" can make a showing for 2-3 weekends Jan-Feb, i'd consider that a success. For us, and 3wheelers in general. So, who can attend this Sundays race? Who will race a trike? We have to keep the communication tops, and go out and have some fun. If you are 100% on this sunday please speak up. We need YOU! We've all had lots of time to get our bikes prepped and ready. Remember, this will be a studded class only!
Yes for Sunday Jan 10 race.

Bad news... I put my R away for the winter! It's going to see silverlake in the spring though.
I'm still interested in the races and meeting everyone so I will probably see you guys there Sunday. This is going to kill me seeing trikes there.... anyone have an extra set of studded tires/rims for my Honda? hehehe

A few pics of this weekends events at Cedar Lake. This place really does a great job of design, layout, and prep of tracks. The "road course" consisted of a 1.9 mile track that had everything from fast sweepers, to s curves, right left transitions and flat out wide open straights. Plus theres the traditional fast oval if you like. But, the road course is the only place to play imo... Had on my brand new studded c-826's and traction was outstanding. Bike ran flawless from practice, till the last lap of the day. Temps were near 0 early in the A.M. and warmed to about 12 or so by afternoon. It was a cold one for sure. That's where the lodge is so nice. They have great food and drinks and it's always nice and warm. Plus the races can be viewed from the upper deck lounge area. Gonna get out there again on the 24th weather permitting, so get ready. Remember, to form a class, we need 6 machines. Or, you can just watch from the sidelines.....
