    250sarmx swing

    any tips on getting rear swingarm off 250sx. do i need to purchase a special wrench for rh side nut with 4 notches in it or will a and punch work. center allen bolt is super tight as well. any help would be appreciated.

    Soak for a few days with penetrant, then I used a punch and .

    I bought the correct tool from my local Honda shop; I don't recall it being that expensive. I've seen too much stuff destroyed by using the wrong tool. If that punch slips you could easily damage the threads in there. You could make your own tool using a piece of pipe and cut out the notches in it.

    Also, use a 17mm allen socket in that center bolt. Someone recently posted pics of a nut stuck in theirs. Someone probably threaded the nut on a bolt to loosen the center bolt; instead the nut got stuck.
