lookin at this 350x what do you think...

i am going to look at this 350x tom. morning wanted to know what you guys thought of the bike what do you think that is work....from what the guy said it runs stops no smoke motor sounds good just needs a little body work....wrong tank and it looks to me wrong front fender.. he has a price of $650 but im going to try to get him down a little but thinkin if it runs good and frame is not all bent up it would be worth the 650 let me know what you think...leavin early in the morning to go look at it so nobody gets there before i do haha

yea thats worth 650 to me, based on the market i'm in. it has 1st gen 200x rear plastic front plastic and tank

It looks pretty rough for 650$..For that price, I would at least expect, the proper gas tank with busted up fenders and bald tires.
It sounds like you have the will and determination to fix it up, and it could be fixed up decent for sure..But it is gonna take some coin..

But I would say if you get for the Sub 500$ amount, you will be better off.
For basically, a running, riding chassis..
At least the 150$ savings could get you some decent used 350X body parts for it.

thanks for all the imput i didnt notice the rear fenders but i wasnt sure i am having a hard time finding one for under 1500 around this area....i figure its worth a look see...we have some spare parts here already(mostly motor) but i figure if i was to buy all new plastic it would run me around $350 according to him no smoke and runs strong but i have heard that before.. just kinda looking for a riding bike that i dont have to worry about and probably restore later....but i know i am not going to do it but wouldnt the motor and chassis be worth 600 if its good??

It looks like a parts bike to me but $250 maybe $300 tops. To bad you don't live out here. Theres ALOT of them for sale in Eastren Pa, Del.,and New Jersey. All nice and priced around $1500. If you want one to work on then buy it, but look around on Craigslist in surrounding states . I'm sure with the holidays comming you'll find one cheap and in way better condition. Just a thought.

here is a little update let me know what ya think...went and looked at it bike does run good no smoke good power...frame is pretty ruff could be fixed for sure but a few bolts broke off foot pegs bent bad back where the grab bar is bent down and cracked here are some pics...dont think its worth the 600 maybe 500 for the motor and odds and end parts tho.. and for the guys that say they are picking them up for less then 500 and are able to be ridden i wish i was there lol i think it would be easier to find gold here then a cheap 350x.. and as far as the "Theres ALOT of them for sale in Eastren Pa, Del.,and New Jersey. All nice and priced around $1500" i would be up for a little road trip to pick up an X for a good price

the only thing i can say is that they must have liked the 200x looks and plastic a lot

to me its worth 500.00,for a mechanically sound 350x.if you tore her down and put another 500 in her she'd be sharp.for a total of 1000.00 and your time of course

Sorry I didn't mean to be rude in my first post. Prices are a lot different here just because the machines are a lot more common. If you ever feel like making youself sick, search the Phoenix and San Diego craigslist. Lots of cheap trikes (and some not so cheap trikes too).
