thanks guys....no wonder i couldn't find the lever. I found where it should be and it is broke off just outside of the case. I used a pliers and got it turned to the low side.

no that doesn't seem crazy to me. The older we get the more we realize we don't need speed all the time. Plus, like i said earlier, sometimes I am just too dam tired for the R but want to ride. I can see hopping on the 90, putting around the yard popping wheelies, maybe even a beer or two , if i drank

Hey all, i haven't been on much lately. I did get the other rear tire mounted and stole the front tire off a parts 85 200 and we're lookin much better. The pull rope broke awhile ago and when I went to replace it I discovered the recoil spring had also broke, so I also robbed that from the parts 200. It was a much tighter fit but I got it in there, Does anyone foresee any problem with the larger spring? Everything feels smooth with it and it has a much stronger return. I'm gonna take it to the power washer and get it cleaned up and then I'll post new pics. Does any one have some good ideas about fixing/replacing the fenders they look to be fiberglass?
