ice racing front tire.?

ok this should be easy for you guys, but i am new to this ice racing stuff.

what tire should i run with studs on the front ( 3/16 studs ). i have to use the stock rim on my 84 250r (11") i need some help here.

I have a spare stock tire and rim that i studded up. You dont need too many up front, I think i did 2 per knob for the 3 inner rows, and one for the rest of them towards the outside, more than enough traction.

what size studs did you use. i am running a front max tire with out studs right now. but i will get a new front just for studs. that way i have tires for ice and regular riding.

so what tire out right now and available will hold 1/2 studs good?

I was thinking a kenda max or a cheng shin.. the 23.5"..... c*** (i forget the #'s but its a great dirt tire most ppl use)
