    Unhappy 83 200E Big Red Leaking oil like crazy

    Took it out trail riding yesterday and for some weird reason the spark plug burned out on me with no way to fix it so i had a buddy tow me home.I guess i made a big mistake by trying to pop it in gear while being towed and now its leaking oil in a steady stream..maybe out the front sprocket area or the left cover there behind the high / low gear switch .
    Anybody got any idea what i tore up and maybe what it will take for me to fix it?
    83 Honda 200 E Big Red
    98 polaris 100 4 wheeler for the kids
    86 Honda TRX 250..Need parts for it.Let me know if you got any.

    you could have possibly thrown the chain and put a hole in your engine casing we need some pics tho

    well damn i guess i need to start tearing crap off that side of the motor till i get to the bottom of the leak.
    nothing to really take a pic of though.maybe its a gasket or something on that side of motor.not sure ..didnt leak a drop before.

    theres no way oil would be coming out in a stream unless you cracked something. You will have to have a closer look!!

    hey guys thanx for the advise.
    I did have a closer look.
    im so fn happy right now i found the problem and dont have to tear it apart again.
    there was a little bolt 8mm down under the hi/low gear casing that was about a 1/4 inch backed out.Was leaking oil like crazy from there.
    so im tightening up every bolt i see on this thing .they all seem to be kinda loose.
    Just weird to me that it would all of a sudden back out like that.
    anyways super happy right now!
