    tightening up a loose kickstart?

My kickstarter on my 350X is really "sloppy" and loose. I took it off and as you can see the ball roller has rubbed a path, and it doesn't lock firmly at either end. I started to take it all apart, but after taking off the C clip that pin still won't come out. Any suggestions???

if thats whats sloppy and loose, you can

    A. get a new one
    B. take it apart, machine bushings for it, re-assemble
    C. take apart, weld-fill the pin holes, re-drill out and re-assemble.

if you have no access to machine shop tools, then the easiest and cheapest option would be option A

^^^ I rebuilt mine on my 86... That was back when I worked in a machine shop... Just as 300rman descibed... Worked like new when I was done...
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!
