    Spindles and bolt patterns

Just wondering if anybody could tell me if a yamaha banshee rear spindle will fit my 83 200x axle? Got a 250r (gold) front wheel today and already have a set of gold banshee rears with nice low pro tires . I think the gold wheels would look pretty trick.

I repainted the tank white and rear fenders i kept red but freshened them up a little . I also ordered a white 250r front fender for it along with a new factory honda seat cover in (85) blue . I cant wait to get it all together .

I dont think they are the same spline but im not sure. If you got the 3rd gen 250R front rim it wont fit the 200X hub, it needs to be the 2nd gen rim..

Other way around. Yamaha hubs fit loose on Honda axles. Honda hubs fit very tight on Yamaha axles, and worn axle works better. Got all Honda hubs on my Yamaha's, and Yamaha hubs on the 125M.

Some place makes wheel spacers that will adapt from say 4/100 to 4/156 (is banshee i think) bolt patterns. You could just go with +1 each side if you didnt want to widen it much. That might be a better route than the hubs. This is like what im talking about . http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/300-P...Q5fAccessories They can be had or made for much cheaper.

No, not rare at all. Whats the bolt patter on the one you're wanting to put the rims on? 4/110? There is a set of those for 115$. Probably a litlte more than new hubs, BUT you got to remember if you ARE wanting to widen it also, you're gaining 3 inches with these. Or you can take the chance and see if your splines are working and try to fit the wrong size hubs on your trike. Its up to you, but my choice would definatley to use something that is made to do just what you want to do.
