350x extra cable??

I keep forgetting to ask... What is the other cable on my stock 350x carb.
I am thinking choke but I dont know where the other end of the cable cable goes.

Unless you have an SX carb with a choke cable, the 350X carb only has one cable for the throtle.

Mine looks like evey other 350x carb I have seen but it has a second cable. the throttle cable goes into the plastic part on the side

Are you talking about the little cable that you twist to adjust the idle?

Oh boy, my lack of knowledge is really going to show through here...

I was under the impression that the black knob was for the idle.
The are two cable coming off of the carb, one goes to the thumb throttle, I dont know where the other one goes. The trike had a different carb on it when I got it so this is kinda new to me. I have had three other trikes but the were 200's with a totalyy differend carb.
The second cable seems to have very little travel if that helps. It may be a choke cable because I dont see a lever for the choke. the end that isnt in the carb basically looks like the end of the throttle cable. (same little knob on the end)

Is it a Keihin 03,05, 08, 10?? What does the carb body have stamped on it?

250SX carbs are near identical but with a cable operated choke.....

Thanks for the info guys. Dirtcrasher, you are right is is a 250sx carb. I compared pics on ebay. Looks like I will have a 250sx carb for sale as well as a Mikuni w/ twist throttle from, God knows what.

Any takers? I will put a thread in the Classifieds area.
