to he11 with pull starter assemblies!

wow man i finally got that sucker fixed. that trike has been sitting for the better part of a year after my buddy pulled that sucker outa there. my problem was when i took it apart that damn spring flew out across the gradge! months back when it happend i tryd and tryd and tryd to get that sucker in there to no success. What worked for me was putting that little notch in the spring on the lip and feeding it in slow and smooth. once i finally got the first to laps in it went pretty good you jst got to really hold that sucker in there while you do it! so anyway i got it all backtogether and it worked great. so i put it on and had to clean the ccarb and drain the gas and all that and it pulled the motor over fine.. well i went to go bring it to the shed and pulled it and guess what.. rope in my hand agian!!! ****! lol so i went downt to walmart and got soem batter nylon cord i used some pretty thick stuff little thicker then the stock. its rated at 125lbs safe use... im hoping thats gunna be enough for a long while. i got lucky the second time as the spring didnt shoot out....that could have been designd much more tech friendly! .. well after all that the trike runs mint! i still have to dig out the copresson release and all that for it and put that in but atleast the starter is all set! this trike is goin up for sale tomorrow. im gunna take soem pics of it and through it up on c list see if anyone bits. shes cleans up real nice and looks way bettee then most of them on there! ....ooo man i need a beer

Yeah they can be a pain sometimes. The onyl trouble ive ever had with a pull starter assembly was with my old 83' 200. The allumium center peiece that would hold the engadeing dogs got many hairline cracks in it and eventually failed.

Three wheeler guys probably have the biggest balls out of all the ATV/Motorcycle riders. You just have to be a little twisted to ride them, and you have to be a great rider to do so.
