1986 Kawasaki Bayou 300

my bro has this bayou 300 that he bought, new fly wheel, stator, coil is good, but no spark, is it in the electrical work? or, the kill switch on it, to make it turn ov, it ha to be in the OFF position, but on the RUN position, it wont even cough or sputter.

Please help, i want to beat him in a race, my KE 100 dirt bike agaist his 300 bayou

on my friends 185 I think I have narrowed his down to the cdi unit.....

we just bought a CDI box, and still nothing, could it be electrical?? like in the kill switch? or is there some saftey thing that may be messed up? please help, he has had it for 2 months now, and still not one ride on it, its kidna depressing.

you said the coil is good? how do you know for sure? did you swap it out? I am just trying to figure it out for sure. You might have a problem with the switch, I am not sure if you can somehow bypass it.....

we took the coil off, and then took the coil off our lawn tractor and it started the tractor up
