    Easteren Canadian 250R

Well As luck would have it I have found yet another atc 250r. But this time its a liquid. My buddy found it at a scrap yard. Traced the serial down on this site and turns out its a 1985 atc 250r. Hats off to Adam for finding this deal. Its not much but is a good start. Its not mint and has 3 broken off bolts. 2 in the triple trees that hold the handel bars on. Friggen hondas. Never had one that never had broken off bolts. Looking at the frame closer. I realize it is not as mint as I hoped. The down tube has been repaired. Was this a common problem? There is a nice 1985 cr 500 That I would love to own right now but am broke. Glad its a 1985 to match my tecate 3 as well as I have heard good things about the 1985 model. Anyways here are the pics.

Use an impact wrench to rattle bolts loose rather than your ratchet... You will have alot less broken bolts.
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

Just wondering but couldn't you's guys in Canada just pick up an R on the other side of the border and bring it over. Me and my sister went to Canada to get a pair of diesel Landcruisers since they never sold them in the states.

No sir, very rare. I would love to even get a roller assembled. Too bad though, but it seems in everyones back yard there a beat bigred with 5 gallon bucket fenders and bad welding everywhere. Espically here in placentia where I stay weekely for colledge.

Nice start. They are certainly hard to find. I have been talking to a few people and there are a few fellas around St.John's here that have them but never use them. In the past year or a little better I sold an 81R, 84R and 85 I believe 200x.

Did any of you other Newfies notice on nlclassifieds in the past week there has been 3 350x's for sale and sold. I called on two of them. was a little too late tho.

Tecate 250, what are you doing with this R, are you going to build it up?

custom200, it was the rough looking black one that I called on.

Newfie take over. I love it. Well Im not sure what to do with it yet. Its no Tecate That I will tell you. After owning a Tecate for so long the lure of the 250rs just isnt there any more. But if someone is interested in it I do plan on tracking down some more parts through my sources. Just need some funding for it now. Almost got the kx 250 going as well. let me know what kind of bikes you are looking for. When I dont look I find all kinds.
