Three wheeler guys probably have the biggest balls out of all the ATV/Motorcycle riders. You just have to be a little twisted to ride them, and you have to be a great rider to do so.

I agree it sucks. When I sell something and someone asks if I'll hold it, I always say if the thing is still here when your ready to come and get it, I'll sell it to you. That is unless the interested person calls and says they are on the way. Even then, I will give a strict time limit. If you say you'll be here in 1 hour, if your not here in 1.5 hours, its back up for sale, unless I get a call.
Just too many flakes call and asks you to hold something, then when they do show up, they try to low ball you. jim

That's a tough one. As an occasional seller of stuff, I've had tons of people say they were coming and then never show. It's hard to hold out for someone who might not show up, or worse, Like Jim Mac said, you wait for them and tell 2 or 3 other people that you're holding it and then the guy you were holding it for shows up and lowballs you. However, as the buyer, I admit I would be pissed too.

I think if I knew two people were coming at the same time, I would get their numbers and call the second person to let them know it had been sold, and hopefully save them most or all of the trip.

Whenever i sell something i always tell people that im not holding the item for them. Its first come first serve in my book. I have had people tell me they were on there way and never show up and that chaps my butt! But sorry bout the deal man. That sucks that the guy had attitude like that.

I really hate that. Just remember that karma for 3 wheel riders can really get ya If you make a deal and someone is on their way, it's sold for the time being. If the other people really want it they can wait the hour to see if you show. There has to be some trust...
