    Anyone know what this part does?

    its a plug with 1 green wire comming out of it.Looks like a sensor of some kind.
    i took the left side casing off cause my chain broke it and found it broken.
    83 Honda 200 E Big Red
    98 polaris 100 4 wheeler for the kids
    86 Honda TRX 250..Need parts for it.Let me know if you got any.

    think i could just soldier the wire back on then it will work since its just a ground wire?

    It's the neutral indiator Green/red wire are always neutral signal

    damn ok ...the wire come apart from the sensor and a little of the plastic on top was broke..you think it will work if i reconnect the wire?

    will that part being bad keep me from having spark?

    It does in the ATC 70's usually, not sure on this.

    Humm not sure,ground the green-red wire,if you got spark the system need a neutral signal to start.But on the 200e if i'm correct,neutral signal isn't needed,start in any gear.250SX and ES start only in neutral,electric and kick

    i know the eletric start doesnt work if its in gear..has to be in neutral
