Welcome, what Mosh said is correct, 300ex wheels bolt right up. 250x,300ex, and 400ex hubs are the same. I am using 250x hubs and 8x8 wheels on mine but a 16" flat track tire (not the best for trail riding) but a nice 18 will fit in there.

The 400ex hubs do work good on a 70. I had a set on my 110 to. As far as i know all honda hub splines are the same except a 350x and a waterpumper R.

sorry been organizing the garage.. I am planning on getting things measured for you later this evening.. I can take pics of the axle size with the original hubs and tires.. and then again with the 300ex hubs and the wheels that I have.
