Just got it fired up a few hours ago, after having a few snags..... I am finding myself having to relearn a few of the Tri-z quirks along the way. I've been away from them for a few years. However, it does sound nice and strong, but is only "roughed in" for tune up. I'll git it tweeked better this week. 3razors, i do all my case up builds this way. I don't cut corners, as nothing is unimportant. I'm certain you share the same passion as myself and Jason Hall to do them right. I recently built a case up 86 Tecate engine for a fellow memberof 3ww and a 05 yz250 case up too. I am finding myself coming up short on time and energy to git ready for TF. Ronnie, better pics are comingSay it!!!!!!!

I'm assuming Ronnie must have built that swinger. The more I look at the pics, I'd say so. Didn't know he still did that sorta thing. I think I need one of them for mine. I got a stator cover to trade? Looks really nice Ed. Still no word on the cover from either party.

Ronnie..... I'll see ya in a day or two. Here's some completed pics of the ol'rag. Just got it running a few days ago and really haven't had the time to git it completely dialed. But, it does run well enough to satisfy. As the "new" buzz is still on. Snapped these pics before rolling it into the trailer earlier today for the depart to TF tomorrow. MMMM, ice cold beer in 90degree Haspin weather. What could be better! See everyone soon........

    P/V Tri-z build HR Racing swinger & TF10 pics

Well, after completing the bike and gitting it to tf, the bike ran very well. I didn't race it since it was not close to being as crisp as i like. But it ran well whenever i wanted to ride it. Of course what makes this bike special is the HR racing 6" swingarm. I met Ronnie at TF in 05, and he was impressed with my other 86z. It is nearly all stock and in great shape. While i, was amazed by the bike that went on to become legend. "The Mantis" We talked quite a bit that weekend and became long distance friends over the last 5 years. He did some amazing things for me during that time, but the crown jewel is this aluminum masterpiece. He knew i wanted to build a 2nd Tri-z over the long haul, and wanted something completely different from what i had, or any other bike in the world for that matter.Like Ronnie always did, he came through to create an amazing piece of work/art. He always told me to take care of it cause it's the only "6" he ever made. I'm so glad he was able to see the bike at TF in person, and sit on it. He was very pleased with it, and said i did well. I told him thank you, it will be well cared for as long as i am able. I'm sooooo glad i have lots of things in the garage to remember him by. He truly was an amazingly kind hearted and talented person who i will miss, and never forget. Thank you Ronnie...... Thank you friend.
