    200x acting up

Went on a nice trail ride yesterday (really fun with all the fresh powder). She ran great through the woods, most of the riding done was at low speeds. On the way back to the truck we took the open road, after about a mile she started to bog down real bad and backfire.... I would let off down shift and it would come back to life intermittently. Made it back though, then went to a second spot and she wouldnt fire. Pulled the plug and it was fouled, replaced plug and it ran great for the short ride. Also the head pipe gets red hot when it does the bog and backfire, this is the second time it has done this to me and its usually after an hour or so of riding. So am I getting too much fuel? too lean? timing? Any suggestions? Also she is hard to start, damn thing wears me out.... Last week it started on the first kick, But usually it takes alot of throttle and 20kicks???

the vibrations from the ride may have changed your carb settings.see if they are still set right.

Sounds like trash in the petcock or carb
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.

Just pulled the carb today. Got it all nice and shiny clean, the needle is all bent up and the slow jet could use replaced, its all crappy looking. Ill start with those two items and go from there.

If the pipe is getting red hot make sure your exhaust isnt plugged up. If your plug got fouled your baffle may have too, from running too rich.
