It sound silly as bikes are probably as scarce over there as they are over here but finding a 250es to ride is your easiest option.

There are alot of issues with converting the 200es,
    - Frame is not designed to take the loads in the areas around the shock mounts.
    - Fabricating a suitable swingarm.
    - Drive shaft angles/ length changes
    - high unsprung weight
    - Geometry changes

It can be done but is it going to provide as much an improvement as the effort its going to take?

Yeh i see your point Ivant, but i heard that the 250es suspension is pretty lousy anyway, and yeah like you siad finding one would be near impossible anyway. I think that it would be kinda cool to have a 200ES WITH REAR SUSPENSION........lol.
A suitable swingarm would be the 200es 84' quad, the diff bolts right in i think......................any way im still swaying in my decision.

    thanks
